Designer & Artist Margie Lemons
If you assumed the soap you use to shower every day was only available in white, Margie has a thing or two she'd like to show you, using a pallet of colors as vibrant as a Texas sunset. All ingredients are listed on the vellum labels handwrapped around each bar of Margie's handmade soap. They include large quantities of fresh African Shea Butter and Olive Oil, along with other quality ingredients like Coconut, Babassu and Palm Oils. One side of the label proudly states her family's dedication to supporting Farm Aid, the foundation co-founded over 20 years ago by neighbor and friend, Willie Nelson. The other side of her label offers an explanation of Haiku as the philosophy of looking at the simple ordinary things in life in a new way. The bar of soap in each of our baths is about as simple and ordinary as life gets. . .
