The foundation for this statement is based on the definition of the
Chamber's responsibilities within the Strategic Plan:

"The major responsibility of the Chamber of Commerce is the community’s economic well being. The Chamber works to increase wealth and prosperity by facilitating the growth of existing businesses and fostering new ones. This new wealth can be directed towards establishing and improving civic, educational and cultural facilities in order to create the proper business climate for attracting more business and industry."
